Custom Home Building Process
Over the years, we have helped many customers realize their dreams of building a custom home. This has enabled us to create a process to ensure our focus remains on you, the customer, and is aligned with our core values.
Consultation:
This initial introduction allows us to gain a better understanding of your requirements and budget. We want to ensure your family’s needs are translated accordingly. We will answer any questions you may have and will provide an overview of the building process.
We will also review your plans for a building location and can also provide assistance in locating a lot.
Choose Your Plan:
We assist you in selecting a design, customized to suit your requirements. Architectural drawings are drafted by either our draftsman or architect. If you already have plans, we will review them at this time. We can also provide a selection of plans for you to choose from.
Contract and Deposit:
We will review your budget and formalize our agreement. The deposit will be required at this time in order to purchase the lot and commence the building process. Unlike our competitors, we do not collect payment throughout the various building phases. Traditionally customers would have to finance the project using personal or borrowed funds, typically obtained via a building mortgage. Springdale will purchase a lot on your behalf and finance the ENTIRE build with only a minimal deposit!
Project Management:
Springdale will manage and coordinate the project from start to finish. We will communicate with you on a regular basis throughout the process.
We will work with you and provide guidance and direction for selecting your interior & exterior product and material selections.
Walk-Throughs:
During milestone stages of the build, we will invite you to walk-through your home. This allows you to view your home prior to completion and make decisions on certain features.
Delivery of Final Product:
We will deliver the keys to your new home and go over any final details. We will continue to be available to you for any questions or concerns. In addition, we offer warranty protection through the Tarion Home Warranty program.
